Werder Bremen vs FC Koln

Werder showed that is hungry for trophy this season or at least euro spots. They are playing quite comfortable against Koln and I cant see them dropping poitns today at home. Werder got 26-8-6 in their last 40 games against Koln here, as they got 8 wins and 1 draw in their last 9 meetings here, which is more than solid for sure. For hosts Marco Arnautovich is back after suspession, and they do not have any big misses. Werder got 2 clean sheets so far and both of them are at home, while Koln do not have a single clean sheet on the road from the beginning of the season. Koln is typical home side to me and performs quite bad on the road. Their 2 wins away from home were quite lucky against crisis Hamburger and tired Leverkusen. Their captain Geromel will be in late fitness test, while Novakovic is big doubt. Podolski said that could leave this winter, so that could affect on the team IMO. Out for sure are Schihi, Andrezinho and McKena.

However they gave a full-blooded performance that saw them beat West Brom 3-2. Goals from Damien Duff, Peter Lovenkrands and Steve Taylor ensured that a brace from Marc Antoine-Fortune was in vain for the Baggies. Damien Duff in particular was in splendid form as he guided Newcastle to a much-needed win, which sees them occupy the 13th spot on the league table with 27 points from 25 games. Newcastle have a massive injury crisis at the club, which was precipitated by news that striker Xisco will be out for at least one month after breaking his foot in a reserve game against Wigan last Monday. However Mark Viduka, Obafemi Martins and Al
